Shaftesbury: along the Abbey Walk

Looking along this broad path which runs westward from the heart of town and, thanks to its elevated position on the ridge of a hill, offers fine views southward over the surrounding countryside. In the distance behind the cross, we can see the square roof of the Town Hall, looking almost tower-like from here.
