SE5489 : Hawnby Bridge over the Rye

Hawnby Bridge over the Rye.

Taken a couple of weeks after the bridge was severely damaged by a flash flood on 19th June 2005.
The metal structure is a temporary bridge laid over the remains of the arch, while repair work is underway on the stone bridge.
