No.1 Salisbury Street, house, 1877-79, restored late-20th century. Now eight flats. By George Gilbert Scott junior for his cousin John Spyvee Cooper, a solicitor of Kingston upon Hull. This building is part of a group of eight houses by Scott, who was an early exponent of the Queen Anne style.
