TM5281 : Covehithe Cliffs

taken 24 years ago, near to Covehithe, Suffolk, Great Britain

Covehithe Cliffs
Covehithe Cliffs
A dramatic example of the erosion that affects much of the East Anglian coast. The lane from Covehithe village ends abruptly at the cliff edge.
The road used to run to a coast guard station (1891 map) but all has vanished.
