Dunragit Bypass
View towards the rail line to the right of picture and Challoch Bridge. To the right also is the old A75 that leads to the bridge and to the left is the new bypass around Dunragit. I drove the old A75 through Dunragit to experience the local perspective and it appears to have stepped back in time to the period before the A75 was built and the village was quiet and peaceful. I saw no vehicles on the road at the same time as me which was all very strange. I guess the chances of Challoch Bridge being hit by an HGV are pretty slim now.
