The East Coastway Line is run by Southern Trains between Brighton and Hastings. The line was originally constructed by the Brighton, Lewes and Hastings Railway and opened in 1846.

Hampden Park Station

Hampden Park railway station is on the East Coastway Line, and train services are provided by Southern. Opened in 1888, it was originally called "Willingdon". It is one of two stations serving Eastbourne, the other being Eastbourne railway station.
