The Needle of The Cobbler (Ben Arthur)
The Needle of The Cobbler (Ben Arthur)
The best known of the "Arrochar Alps". Climbing the final outcrop is known as "threading the needle" and was once used as a test of manhood for prospective clan chiefs. It involves wriggling through gaps, blind holds, and a fall of around 150 feet if you get it wrong.
