Path in Balloch Castle Country Park
The path is a continuation of a NS3982 : Riverside pathway at Balloch. This entrance to the park was created shortly after 1920; see NS3983 : Balloch Castle.

The metal post has, near its top, a marker for the John Muir Way, which would be officially opened a week later.
