SD5229 : Slipway behind Sea Cadets

taken 10 years ago, near to Higher Penwortham, Lancashire, England

Slipway behind Sea Cadets
Slipway behind Sea Cadets
The slipway behind the Sea Cadets in Preston half an hour after high water Fleetwood, with a predicted tide height of 9.3 metres. On big spring tides heights can exceed 10.5 metres, early in February this year there were tides reaching 10.6 metres.

The slipway has had some recent work carried out and it does look like it is being prepared for use.
