Entrance to a pillbox at Bungay & Waveney Valley Golf Club
The hexagonal pillbox stands close to the clubhouse and has an internal ricochet wall which can be clearly seen in this image. It used to guard the Bungay to Harleston railway line which was dismantled after the Beeching cuts. It is not listed on the Defence of Britain database. Unusually it has a step-down into the pillbox but this could be a later addition. For another view see: Link
