Little Egret (Egretta garzetta), a member of the Heron family, has only been breeding in the UK since 1996. It is most commonly found on the South Coast. There are currently around 700 breeding pairs in the UK.

This one is hunting in Looe Harbour at low tide, seemingly comfortable in proximity to humans and their boats.
