Gibbs Building, King's College, Cambridge
Gibbs Building, King's College, Cambridge
Built in 1721-1724 this building was designed by the architect James Gibbs, famous for the church of St Martin's-in-the-Fields in London and the Radcliffe Camera in Oxford.

The people in the centre of the photograph are actually punting on the River Cam which is flowing along a cutting between the meadow in the foreground and the manicured Back Lawn of King's.
