SO5827 : Infilled railway cutting at Backney

Infilled railway cutting at Backney
The railway left Backney viaduct -
SO5827 : Remains of Backney bridge - on an embankment, crossed a minor road on a bridge and passed into a cutting on its way to Hereford. In the 1980s, this cutting was used as a landfill site, and the embankment and road bridge demolished. I'm standing with my back to where the road bridge used to be and looking at the infilled cutting. Backney Halt -
SO5827 : Backney Halt, near Ross-on-Wye - was on the left of this shot. You can just make out the road overbridge and Backney viaduct in Ben's shot.
