Grade I listed.
The church was mentioned in the Domesday book, the north arcade is 12th C. There is a 2 bell bellcote from circa 1250. The south arcade is 13-14th C.
Inside is a late 13th C. coffin lid.
The Knights Templar came to South Witham in circa 1164 where they established a preceptory. This eventually became a subsidiary of Temple Bruer near Lincoln.
The church was restored in 1902.
