The impressive ruins of Kiltullagh House stand just to the west of Kiltullagh village, and is associated with the D'Arcy family of Kiltullagh and Clifden Castle. It probably dates from the late C17 or early C18, and in 1786 it was mentioned as being the seat of Patrick D'Arcy. By the 1890s the house was already in ruins.
