NG8736 : Stromemeanach village

Stromemeanach village
Wrongly described as 'sheilings' on the 1:50,000 map, these are the remains of the old settlement of Stromemeanoch, correctly described on the 1:25,000 map. The village was abandoned around the late 19th century, in favour of the growing village of Lochcarron.
