Statue of 7th Earl of Hopetoun
Statue of 7th Earl of Hopetoun, in the Rose Garden next to St. Michael's Church, near to Linlithgow Palace. He was the first Governor General of the Australian Commonwealth.
Apparently this statue used to stand in a more prominent position near Linlithgow Cross and was known locally as the Green Man because of the verdigris which formed on the metal.
