St Bene't Minster - interior
Plaques depicting the stages of the Crucifixion, and statues of Catholic saints can be seen along both walls of the nave. St Bene't's Minster > Link was built in the early 1900 by the architect Frederick Banham. The church was initially intended as the minster church of a large Benedictine priory, but plans were changed and it has since been served by monks of Downside Abbey in Stratton-on-the-Fosse in Somerset.
