Baddesley Clinton

This moated house has a history dating back to before the 13th century. For most of its life it belonged to the Ferres family who held it until 1939. It then passed to a distant relative who took the Ferres name and set about significant structural repair work before it was given to the National Trust (with a suitable endowment) in 1980. The house and extensive grounds are open to the public.
