The walled garden in Croome Park is adjacent to Croome Court. The present garden is thought to date from around 1750, the time of the 6th Earl of Coventry and Capability Brown, who landscaped the parkland, though the origins of the garden predate this time. Croome Landscape Park and Croome Court are now in the care of the National Trust and are open to the public, however, the walled garden is privately owned and not normally open to the public. The owners purchased the gardens in 2000 and over the last 14 years have restored the gardens and during the Bank Holiday weekend of 23-25 August opened it to the public. At five acres it is believed this is the largest Georgian walled gardens in the country.
