Cullaloe Wildlife Reserve
Cullaloe Wildlife Reserve
Cullaloe Reservoir is no more. Now a nature reserve. Just north of Aberdour, Fife.

Cullaloe is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its rare plants, including Mudwort.

Includes current surveys, fortnightly bird count, Original Species List 2008,
Butterfly Transect 2008 and calendar of list of events and works planned for the year.

Plenty to keep the twitchers happy here.
Behind is the Quarry where they allegedly thieved the Fife rock to build some of the New Town of Edinburgh. In fact I believe they are going to start thieving again as further quantities of stone are required for restoration work.
