Karlsruhe Friendship Bridge, Nottingham, NG1
The new (2014) 104 metre long, 14.5 metre wide tram bridge over Nottingham Station weighs 1.100 tonnes. Orange barriers indicate where trams using the existing (and original) line are continuing to terminate. A passenger-less tram was used to test the bridge for the first time on 22 August 2014 under the cover of darkness.
