1916 Maudslay at Stoneleigh
A restoration of a WWI style lorry taking a turn round the display field at Stoneleigh Park during the 2014 Coventry Festival of Motoring.

The 1916 Maudslay Model B 3-ton Subsidy chassis (built to a generic government specification for wartime use) was restored to running order and provided with a WWI style cab by staff and Friends of Coventry Transport Museum. The original vehicle constructed for the RFC is thought to have been used at an airfield in the Angus area of Scotland during WWI. In the intervening years, before being acquired by the museum from a farm in Dundee in 2000, it saw use as a showman's dwelling and a holiday home.
