Clints and grikes, Harry Hallam's Moss
Clints and grikes, Harry Hallam's Moss
Looking towards Whernside across one of the many extensive areas of limestone pavement below the steep northern flank of Ingleborough. Although probably more accurately grey in colour, the limestone appears white in bright sun, particularly when contrasted with cloud-shadowed fellsides.
