Claymills Victorian Pumping Station - small steam engines
Claymills Victorian Pumping Station - small steam engines
Two engines displayed in E Engine House. The horizontal single Westminster Engine by Bennis of Bolton was used on an experimental sludge plant and then stored. The green Sisson engine on the right was installed in 1937 in the basement of A/B engine house to drive a centrifugal pump to pump water from the reservoir under the boilers to the water softening plant to feed the boilers.
