Front door of 58 Buckingham Gate
58 Buckingham Gate is the former HQ of The Queen's Westminster Rifles and it
first appears on the O.S. Town Plan of 1895 listed as the 'Drill Hall, (13th Westminster R.V.)'. The white stone 'ribbon' and portico across the front once carried the words 'THE QUEEN'S WESTMINSTER RIFLES.', but much of that is illegible today. In more recent years the building was used by the Metropolitan Police
