TQ2979 : 58 and 59 Buckingham Gate

taken 3 years ago, near to Westminster, Great Britain

58 and 59 Buckingham Gate
58 and 59 Buckingham Gate
Looking across Buckingham Gate towards #58 in the centre, and #59 beyond. 58 was once the HQ for The Queen's Westminster Rifles, but in more recent years the building was used by the Metropolitan Police. See also TQ2979 : 58 Buckingham Gate - former HQ of The Queen's Westminster Rifles,
The O.S. 1895 Town Plan shows that 59, adjacent to 58, was also a drill hall for the 7th Middlesex R.V., but I don't think it was the building that stands there today.
