Erected by the Towton Battlefield Society 26-4-2005, close to Lord Dacre’s Tomb.
The inscription reads:- "Here lie the remains of unknown soldiers found at Towton Hall 1996 ~ and killed at the Battle of Towton Palm Sunday 29th March 1461.
Remember and pray for all those who died”
