Great views and well worth the effort of getting up here via few steepish paths.

Northumberlandia has been nicknamed Slag Alice I believe, due to her gritty makeup, stony character and tough durability. She symbolises the region, its people and both the past and future. Quite an attraction.

Comparable to one similar one in Wales that I have heard of (LinkExternal link here on Geograph LinkExternal link - I don't yet know of any similar schemes of this exact type.
