Boulmer Volunteer Rescue Service building
Boulmer Volunteer Rescue Service building
The building that houses the boat used by Boulmer Volunteer Rescue Service. The lifeboat station was part of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution until 1967 when the RNLI decided to withdraw their service from the village. At this point the local community stepped in to keep a rescue boat based in the village, a service which has been maintained ever since 1967.
