Lincoln: High Street 1992, before pedestrianisation
View northward at St Benedict's Square, towards Stonebow Gate and the Guildhall; just ahead the River Witham flows underneath - in the 'Glory Hole', where the half-timbered buildings flank the street. All is much changed since major roads have been built through the city in the vicinity and the narrow High Street became a pedestrian precinct.
