The approach to Fledborough Station
The sparse local habitation would hardly have produced many passengers, but agricultural traffic would have been the mainstay. It closed to all traffic in 1955.
Fledborough Station
Fledborough Station was opened in 1897 by the Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway and later operated by the Great Central Railway, London & North East Railway and British Rail. It closed on 19th September 1955 and the tracks were lifted in 1980.
