Strange inscription on a post off Carr Lane
Strange inscription on a post off Carr Lane
This is just below the railway bridge. Over the broken wall a footpath has been trodden that leads through a strip of woodland to a public footpath. The inscription is JINKA in nicely cut letters, looking 'official'. Jinka is a place in Ethiopia, and a word with different meanings in several languages. It is also an 'urban slang' word that has various meanings, some rather unsavoury.
