Ruislip Lido Railway
The start of the extension built in stages from about 1980. Formerly the two lines formed a return loop here, back to Woody Bay. The extension kept the widely separated lines where the loop was, but brought them together northwards to merge as a single line, with passing loops, around to the terminus on the other side of the reservoir. The gauge is the very unusual 12 inches (305 mm).
