West Charleton Marsh
West Charleton Marsh
This developed after Lord Boringdon built a dam across the creek in 1805 to create farmland, was later used as a musket range, and is now a nature reserve rich in birdlife, as well as a cattle pasture - see SX7541 : Cattle resting by West Charleton Marsh.
