London Aquatics Centre
London Aquatics Centre
One of the best known London 2012 Olympic venues, the Aquatics Centre, designed by architect Zaha Hadid, provided the backdrop to countless world records and Ellie Simmondsí dramatic swim into the history books.

It contains two 50-metre (160-foot) swimming pools and a 25-metre (82-foot) diving pool.

Beside the Centre is Waterworks River, one of the Bow Back Rivers that flow into the Bow Creek part of the River Lea.
