St Martin's Church, Laugharne
St Martin's Church, Laugharne
It has been a place of worship since Norman time, and it was restored in the 15th century and again in 1873. The Church become Dylan Thomas' final resting place when, after his death in 1953 in New York, the poet’s body was returned to Britain and buried in the 'new' graveyard. Caitlin, his wife, was also buried in the same plot following her death in 1994.
