Walpole Old Chapel
Walpole Old Chapel
This is one of the oldest non-conformist chapels in England. It was registered as a place of worship in 1689 following the passing of The Act Of Toleration when William and Mary came to the throne. The building was originally a C16 farmhouse. It was closed in 1970 but still remains open for baptisms, weddings and funeral. It is in the care of Historic Chapels Trust.
