Not visible from the road, the Category B listed Baro House is a 2-storey and attic butterfly plan country house of 1939/40 by the catholic church architect Reginald Francis Joseph Fairlie (1883 to 1957). Construction was halted by WW2 and the house was completed by Charles Gray in 1955.
