Referendum poster
Referendum poster
One of No's irritating posters defaced by a Yes supporter beside the A90. At this time, 18 days or so to go, most posters seen around the place were pro independence - they were certainly the loudest and better focused campaign at this time. Polls were narrowing and the unionists were reaping the rewards of complacency.

Perceptions at the time for mass observation purposes.
