Construction site, Slyne Road (A6)
In the foreground, the A6 has been temporarily diverted (towards the camera). The Heysham to M6 link road will cut across here, at about the current ground level. The A6 will be raised to cross over the new road.
Two loaded dumper trucks are heading west, about to cross the temporary bridge over the A6 on the extreme right. The temporary embankment has been sprayed with a mixture of grass seed and fertilizer, which will help to bind the surface.
