Detail of bollard at field entrance
This is one of the cast concrete bollards at the field entrance shown in SE8457 : Field entrance, Huggate Wold. It is one of several bell shaped concrete bollards with latin inscriptions along roads in the area. These were placed by Mr Newark Andrews, a local farmer, in the 1960ís to mark the entrance to his fields.
