Daltote Cross
Daltote Cross
The Daltote Cross lies in a lonely location in the forest below Daltote Cottage. It marks the location of a holy well and burial ground, and a sign mounted on a post near the cross says it dates from the 6th to 8th century. It is a sadly neglected site, and the cross is slowly being worn away by the elements.
