Burgage Manor, Southwell
Burgage Manor, Southwell
Three bays, the central one pedimented and fronted by a Tuscan porch. Late C18th. Grade II listed.
Lord Byron's mother lived here with the man himself from about 1802 but probably not for long as he was not enamoured of the locals - "old parsons and old Maids" (praxxis.co.uk/credebyron).
