'Grayhound': a Cornish lugger off Lower Hope Point
Grayhound was heading up river to Greenwich after taking part in the 2014 Tall Ships Race from Falmouth to the Isle of Wight.

She was built as a replica of a Cornish vessel of the same name dating from the 1770's. Her owners give her length overall as 108 feet, length on deck, 63 feet 6 inches (scaled down 6:5 from the original). The 18th century Grayhound apparently had a brief career as a customs vessel before being fitted out as a privateer, armed with eight cannon: LinkExternal link
