TF4958 : Wainfleet Station

Wainfleet Station
Wainfleet Station
Until 1970, Wainfleet was an intermediate stop (albeit the most important of the three) on the Firsby - Skegness branch. In summer holiday expresses passed through here but for the rest of the year the service was purely local in nature. That has all changed; most trains now run to or from Nottingham and Firsby is no longer on the rail network.
