Preceptory near Stydd Hall
A single wall with 3 lancet windows is all that remains of a Preceptory belonging to the Knights Hospitallers. This Grade I listed structure is situated close to a footpath but in a private garden next to Stydd Hall and the picture shows what would have been the outer wall of the Chancel. The English Heritage entry listing doesn't state the exact coordinates of this 13th Century structure but according to my readings it's located at SK17213999. Thanks also to the occupants of the hall for allowing access to this fine site.
