Site of Berkswell Crossing
Site of Berkswell Crossing
This was one of the three level crossings on the West Coast Main Line between Coventry and Birmingham that recently eliminated as part of the line upgrade. An existing underpass was upgraded and extra provisions made for pedestrians and equestrians (including mounting/dismounting blocks!). The headroom is restricted somewhat however alternative routes are readily available for larger vehicles.
