SH7075 : Feed apron bridge

taken 10 years ago, near to Penmaenmawr, Conwy, Wales

Feed apron bridge
Feed apron bridge
The feed apron for the primary crusher of the Penmaen Mill SH7075 : Penmaen Crushing Mill forms a bridge over an intermediate level accessed by a short incline from Bonc Jolly. The winding house can be seen in the distance. It is obvious that the feed apron is a later construction since it is executed in a neat reinforced concrete with brick walls. Steps were provided for access but the handrails are long-gone.
