The purpose of this structure is unclear but it could have been a hen-house. It's hidden away in a small thicket. The roof is made from what is called, for historical reasons, corrugated iron. Unless it was built before around 1890, which seems unlikely, the roofing material is probably galvanized mild steel LinkExternal link
